Dubai Airport Free Zone

Established in 1996, Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) is wholly owned by the Government of Dubai. DAFZA is the only airport-oriented free zone in Dubai, and it's located within the boundary of Dubai International Airport.

Excellent Cargo & Logistics Facilities:

DAFZA CHOICE OF LICENSES

INDUSTRIAL LICENSE
Activities Allowed: Manufacturing, processing, assembling, packaging, import of raw materials, and export of finished products

TRADING LICENSE
Activities Allowed: Import, export, distribution, storage all items specified in the license

SERVICE LICENSE
Activities allowed as approved by DAFZA

DIFFERENT FORMS OF REGISTRATION:

There are three possible structures for an entity to have its legal presence in DSOA and are as follows:

1. Branch

• Branch of a company incorporated outside the UAE
• Branch of a company registered in the UAE

2. Free Zone Establishment (FZE)
A limited liability establishment incorporated in DAFZA, owned by one natural or legal person with a distinct legal identity and an independent financial liability. Min. capital of AED 1,000,000 (or multiple thereof). Applicant can be an individual or non-individual (partnership association)

3. Free Zone Company (FZCO)
A limited liability company incorporated in DAFZA, by more than one shareholder with a distinct legal Identity and independent financial liability. Min. of 2 and Max. of 5 shareholders required for FZCO. The amount of shares invested must be min. of Dhs 500,000 and multiple of thousands thereof. Management not less than 3 persons, One Manager and One Secretary must reside in Dubai.
